About Us ...
The first brew at Windie Goat Brewery took place on 16th May 2006 and we continue to celebrate the brewery's birthday annually.
Michelle Kelsall is the head brewer, one of only a handful of female brewers in the United Kingdom. Her favourite beers tend to be big and hoppy including Goose Island IPA and Thornbridge Jaipur IPA. Her favourite Windie Goat beers are Peden's Cove and Gutter Slab.
Michelle's husband, Chris, can be relied on for helping with the heavy lifting when required and occasionally gets bribed into cask washing. His favourite Windie Goat beers are Gutter Slab and Windie Red Red Robin and guest ales he lists Thwaites Original and Crouch Vale Brewer's Gold amongst his favourites.
